Phenomenal! Sofia, Maria, and the crew at Puzzles were incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and on top of every detail.
We had a big birthday party for 2 four year old girls and it was the perfect venue from start the finish! We had just enough space, toys, and activities to keep all 11 kids engaged and playing happily. Sofia and Maria took care of all the details and even spent time playing with the kids and helping them move from playing to washing hands to eating pizza and cake.

We chose the face painting as the entertainment and they were also fantastic! Not only did they offer face painting, there was also a magic show and cotton candy.
We were all so impressed with the space and how attentive and helpful Sofia and Maria were the entire time.
We're grateful to be able to give the girls such a wonderful birthday party and can't recommend Puzzles highly enough! Make sure you plan ahead for your little one's next party-they get booked quickly, and rightfully so!

My son has been attending puzzles Pre-k prep since October 2022 and he absolutely loves it. Attending has made his speech and overall communication skills much better. Sofia (the owner/ founder) is great at communicating, sending pictures and overall updates on how your child is doing. He engages in art, sensory play, story time and now in summer camp outdoor play. I can't say enough good things about this space. It is something I will always be grateful for.

Sophia & her team at Puzzles are an amazing asset to our Astoria Community! Our 4 yo loves attending the various afternoon classes and camp offerings. Sophia & her team are so welcoming at drop off/pick up, that our little one walks right in. The space is inviting and clean. Sophia responds quickly when communicating with us when registering for classes, etc. Recently my husband & I attended a CPR class offered at Puzzles. On top of the class being informative & necessary for our family's safety, Puzzles offered childcare while we attended the class. What more could you ask for?! We highly suggest you check it out for yourself!

A note of genuine thanks and appreciation for Sofia and her team at Puzzles. We hosted my son's 5th birthday here and it was the most seamless, flawless, fun time for all! We did a "drop off" party, so the other parents were thrilled to get 2 hours to themselves. Each child got their own cubby to store their belongings during their time there. Sofia organized open play in her really fun and colorful play space (the slide was a big hit!), followed by a great music session that the kids just loved. We ended the party with pizza (which she also handled top to bottom!), birthday cake (we brought in) and she helped us get the kids out the door with party favors in hand. Cannot recommend Puzzles enough for birthday parties, or for everyday play. We have done a number of drop offs here for days off from school and the kids just love it. Sofia made it so easy for us and so fun for the kids!

Ever since meeting Sofia and all the staff at puzzles I had a feeling the place was amazing! Friendly, and overall great experience bringing my kids to puzzles! Highly recommend for social activity and the art activities are simply fantastic !! Good job to everyone at Puzzles for providing a wonderful service to the community.

I can't say enough good things about this place . Puzzles is a gem in our community that I wouldn't know how to live without . Sofia and her team really put time love and care into helping children grow socially . My child not only loves his time there but surprises me with how much he learns . Sofia and the staff are so helpful and welcoming to parent questions/ concerns. We love puzzles !

My son just turned 3 and he loves the "preschool prep" classes. All the staff are so caring and clearly love the kids. The space is super clean and I never worry about dropping him off in their care. If you don't have a village to help you raise your kids, you've just found a key member!

My son has been going to puzzles at least once a week since September. Our family loves it. Puzzles is such a warm and welcoming environment where toddlers/kids and their families/care takers can come and have a laid back educational and exploratory experience. I'm so happy to have a place like puzzles in walking distance.

Puzzles has helped my kiddo in so many ways! We love how his speech therapy sessions aren't just like other places that we have tried in the area. Instead it's a session that incorporates playtime with other kiddos which makes my son's speech therapy so much more valuable in my opinion. He uses what he has practiced at puzzle and is able to apply it in school.

We love Puzzles and love Sofia even more! Great space with great teachers. I recommend to all my mama friends.

Finding a place where I know my son will learn, have fun, and thrive has been such a blessing! Sofia and her staff are amazing humans! I could hear the difference in my sons speech, how he now asks so many questions, tells me about his friends and how he tries new things. Sofia sat with me and spent the time to discuss my son and his needs. She gave me great advice and has gone above and beyond to make my son feel comfortable, from sitting on the floor with him, to blowing bubbles outside and walking two blocks to help out my mother in law. Sofia has a gift and I am so glad she chose to share it with the Astoria community ❤️ Shout out to Ms. Alison, Zach loves you!

Puzzles is a gorgeous, inclusive space for kids, and we absolutely loved having our son's birthday party there. Sophia went above and beyond- from helping set up, to cutting cake, to handing out goodie bags, she was always there. We love the classes, too!

My 4 year old Jade attended Puzzles' Holiday Camp between Christmas and New Years and loved it! Came home with a lot of stories about activities and tired from a full morning. So glad she had this outlet during her week off of school. Staff very nice, recognized her at each drop off even though it was her first time attending. Highly recommend! Owner Sofia very responsive via email if you have any questions. Don't hesitate, your little will love Puzzles!

We cannot say enough good things about the Pre-school Prep program offered at Puzzles. Sophia and all her staff are so dedicated to the children and take a special interest in each one as individuals. The nurturing environment provided at Puzzles has enabled our son, in a short period of time, to grown so much socially, emotionally and academically. We appreciate the photos that they send so we can get a look at how he is doing and they are always available to provide feedback on his progress. We would highly recommend Puzzles to anyone seeking a nurturing and fun program for their child.

I had my son's birthday party here and we all loved the place- including the adults! Sofia did an amazing job coordinating the event and the space is welcoming, warm and truly, everyone fits in! Highly recommend Puzzles, and will be doing a lot more at this center for my son!!

Puzzles has been an incredible place to send our son. The staff are wonderful and caring and always reach out with photos and updates from his classes. He has made new friends, expanded his vocabulary tremendously, and always comes home with a craft to share from his classes. It really feels like a second home and I'm already looking forward to when my youngest is old enough to join him!

Puzzles is a such an amazing place. My daughter started going to the pre school prep classes when she was around 2 years old. She flourished there so much. Adores teachers ( Ms Eva, Ms Maria and Ms Sofia) and her friends. It's a caring and nourishing environment. We are planing 3rd bday party there in August.

Puzzles has been a great experience for my daughter. Her development has sped up exponentially since attending the preschool prep classes especially as it relates to her speech skills. Sofia, Maria, and Eva are amazing mentors and models for the kids which is so important at this age. I can't say enough good things for about the program!

I have heard nothing but wonderful things about puzzles in Astoria from moms in the neighborhood. Decided to give it a try and the process of signing my son up has been wonderful. I so appreciated their thorough intake form. Helps put me at ease know they are covering as many details about my son as possible. Highly recommend!!

I love this place! We go there for events like back to school event and Halloween party. The space is clean, safe, and welcoming. The events are always well run and organized. They are a great venue for parties. I love that part of their mission is to be inclusive and they are a great partner to the community in Astoria.

Absolutely love puzzles! My 5 and 3 yr olds love going there. The "teachers are so nice and it's so fun". Highly recommend for parents looking for a drop off class for their little ones.
